The kayak club usually meets at Tipping Pond at the top of Massey Drive on Tuesday nights during the summer. The goals of the club are to enhance the skills of the members, to promote safe and responsible paddling and to provide a means for local kayakers to network and get together for kayaking trips of any length and skill level. Here are some pictures taken on some of these trips and at the pond sessions. If you are interested in joining the group email me at

These pictures where taken on a day that was supposed to a paddle in Port Aux Port Bay. Due to VERY high winds the plan was altered to a trip up a small river where we paddled through swamp and jungle like conditions, through lily pads and tall grass an over a beaver dam. Sort of UN-sea kayaking!
Pictures below were taken on the Green Gardens Trip, a paddle in Brakes Cove and a trip to the Gravels. Some are mine but thanks goes out to Jamie Graham and his waterproof camera case for the others.
Here we have shots from the 18km McIvers to Summerside trip and the paddle into Goose Arm from Coxes Cove (25km). Note The Green Death (the seaweed not the Export A cigarettes) and the rock formation (actually from the Gravels) that looks like,, well what do you think it looks like?
